Could it be? The 30+ year veteran rockers back on Top 40 radio with their new single off the highly andicipated “Black Ice” album released this Monday? Apparently so! WSTW here in Delaware is giving away a free trip to see AC/DC in concert in an “undisclosed location” as part of their FanNation promotion. I almost couldn’t believe my ears. AC/DC on a Top 40 station? That’s probably the most awesome thing I’ve heard in a while!

Things are happening all the time, they don’t always make sense and often make you shake your head several times.
My main character is a lvl 70 Blood Elf Hunter with a Beastmaster spec. Anyone following the news of the expansion as it undergoes beta testing knows that Beastmaster hunters are going to be well taken care of in the expansion. I’m not playing him so much any more as I’m trying to lvl my rogue and paladin up as close to 70 as I can get them before the expansion hits. It’s not easy. I’m used to running around at 70 and being able to do just about everything, I forgot how hard the grind up to 70 was. Oh well.
November 18th is the day. We still don’t have a title for it but Nickelback will be releasing a new album on that date (barring any production problems). I’m anticipating this release not only because I like Nickelback but also because Mutt Lange is producing their album. You may know Lange from his work with Def Leppard, AC/DC and his former wife Shania Twain (if you like country). He knows how to make a good album and it will be interesting to see what he does and where he takes Nickelback.
She makes perfect sense from a Republican point of view. She’s VERY conservative, even opposing a woman’s right to choose. In her first term as governor and serving three years on a city council before that, she’s not tied to Washington at all. She’s even described as being more conservative than McCain which should settle some GOP people who were concerned about that.
Apparently the legendary band has baggage similar to that of…oh say, Van Halen, Journey, etc. Politics. I hate when politics gets involved in music or vice-versa. Then again, I guess sometimes it is near impossible to prevent their mingling. (see, Bono, Eddie Vedder, Rage). Or politics could be read as: money. Who knows?
